Our Ministries

Children's Ministries

St Paul United Methodist church offers a wide variety of ministries aimed at meeting the needs of the entire family. We all need a place where we can get to know one another, and where we can build relationships as neighbors, friends and children of God. St Paul is where YOU can become part of the family of God and build relationships that will last forever!

Children are invited to come to “Children’s Church” for a time of special worship and teaching formatted for their understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Sunday School is offered for grade levels Pre-K through 5th, with caring, loving teachers and a Bible-based curriculum. Visit the Parent Resources page for faith-based activity websites for children.

St Paul Methodist School offers a pre-school program during the school year to the community. The school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and constantly receives high ratings for quality of education and care.

Vacation Bible School is held every summer and is open to children K-5th grade. There is always an exciting week planned for the children.

Outreach Ministry

St. Paul UMC views Outreach a priority – with some aspect of Outreach included in most areas of ministry at St. Paul. Outreach is not limited to helping those in financial, physical or even spiritual need or spreading God’s word only to the local community. It also includes reaching out to help people and organizations outside of Gulf Breeze and Navarre, outside of Pensacola, outside of Florida — and even outside the United States. Wherever God leads us, in heart and spirit, the people of St Paul UMC are ready to reach out and follow God’s purpose.

St. Paul and CLC are coordinating a short-term activity for adults living with disabilities on February 11,18, 25, and March 2, 9, 16. T ime: 615 - 730 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for a time of study, prayer and service. Parents and caregivers are welcome!

Pam Brannon coordinates Fall Fest (October), Mothers' Day Tea, and Angel Tree at Christmas.

Bev and Charlie Swem coordinate planning and purchasing food to prepare a meal once a month (usually the last Sunday of the month) at Ronald McDonald House in Pensacola. Volunteers from the congregation are needed to make this possible.

Every October we have a Pumpkin Patch. The monies earned from this go toward our Outreach programs, including Vacation Bible School, and helping the needy. We are currently looking for a coordinator for this endeavor. The congregation's help is very much needed for this activity.
